What's on your Monday Menu?

Good Morning! I slept great (uh-oh, Lisa!). I was totally beat from a good but long day teaching a cookie class at a fancy barn, with a flower arranging session later. It was lovely. My only complaint is that I think I got myself a bit of poison ivy on my right hand. Really hoping it doesn't spread too much--I just caught myself touching my face!
Today will be a very busy one. I have another class this weekend and have a ton to do to prep. Tomorrow I will be taking mom to get the other cataract done, so I won't be able to do anything, then. Gotta get started ASAP.
QOTD: How do you stay motivated about weight loss / maintenance? I am asking because I guess I'm really not as motivated as I thought I was?? I saw some pretty horrifying pictures of myself this week and realize I am so far off my game, even with my renewed commitment. Help! What keeps you on track?
Accountability: Saturday was a total fail. Sunday I barely ate anything. No balance.

Good mornin everyone! Yikes on the poison ivy QJB! Hope it stays only on your hand!.
Yesterday was a mixed bag. My pain was bad and I fell into the wall twice and bathroom sink once. Just so groggy and out of it. Not sure what the heck that was about. Still a bit groggy today but nothing like yesterday. The good, I got to see my nieces and nephew. They all like what I fixed for dessert, a rarity!
I have a phone appointment anywhere from 8 to 5 today. Gotta love that :::eye roll::: Also hoping to hear back from my case manager from the insurance/Medicaid place. Lots of waiting around today. Hoping to get some small stuff done today and maybe a nap. Working on 3 hours and 13 minutes of sleep so I may be overly ambitious lol
QOTD: looking for what that is for me too. I feel so lost on the matter, mainly I need to give a crap about it.
B: avocado toast, boioled egg and coffee x3
L! Leftover taco stuff made into a salad I think
D: ?????
almost forgot...the birria de pollo was a mixed result. Over all it made a great casserole...the tortillas we had gotten fell apart when trying to make tacos. It made a whole 2 really ugly tacos before I gave up in it. The sauce? Ah-maxing! The chicken was yummy and the cinnamon in the sauce was a really nice touch. I also used a different not hot chili instead of chilies de ablo. It was so good! I used a crumbling Mexican cheese(forget the name). It was just a tad salty and so good on the casserole I made. Next time we'll get better tortillas(we got mission) but we can get authentic thick ones at a Hispanic grocery store here.

Good morning and happy Monday!
Qotd - I really try to remember that im choosing my hard and while this is hard, being MO was harder....harder on my joints, harder on my heart, harder on my mental state...easier on my credit card maybe because I couldn't fit in to clothes I liked but still harder! I also focus on the routines that are easy to maintain and control. But I am a work in progress not perfection and I get it wrong too. Hopefully more right than wrong. I also celebrate thing that won't get old like wrapping the normal sized hotel bath towel around me!
walking and maybe some stretching for exercise today. My Fitbit did FINALLY think I needed a rest day yesterday but I already had plans so I ended up with 74 active minutes, lol.
menu today
coffee plus half and half
siggis mixed berry skyr

tbd on dinner
have a good one everyone! Start your week off right!

I also focus on all those things to keep me motivated. I just love love love the way I feel now, my energy and the need to be active. Routines are awesome to stay on track. Which is why I am very disciplined 90% of the time usually free floating on trips but even then I want activity and mostly good food choices.

Good morning everybody!
We had a great weekend right up until the the Patriots game last night. ugh, Amy.
Ribfest was a little chilly. Fortunately, we had blankets and hoodies. By the end, we were ready to hear Semi Charmed Life and go home. Seven minute commute back to my house. I had tried to get Matt plus a special mystery guest to accompany me, but maybe next year.
After the class at Orvis we went for wine and sushi. Saturday night we watched football and the San Diego Open.
Yesterday was rainy, I fished a little between rain storms, and we went to an Octoberfest type of event. I have leftover swine schnitzel for tonight.
The new toaster came. Marilyn is excited, but we don't really have the settings dialed in yet.
QOTD: I've said before that I'm a mixed bag on compliance. Having friends and good coaches at CrossFit definitely keeps me coming back.
Breakfast: bagel
lunch: chicken
dinner: schnitzel
Have a great day, all!

I fought the urge to complain to you last night, for which Rob and the animals are grateful, I?m sure. We watched Date Night after the game, which Marilyn thought was cute.

I would have loved a text about the hot potato play and being robbed of first down!
