Welcome to Thursday a day that is going to be rainy and windy, but here in the Northeast we sure do need some rain. I got into work early just to avoid having to drive in the rain.

Yesterday started off nice and calm at work and then by 11am it all turned into a **** show. Have any of you wondered how some people especially the younger generations have gotten as far as they have in life? I swear I work with some of either the laziest people or the stupidest people. I spent 2 hours trying to find a ticket for an ash trailer that had been sitting here since last week. After pulling reports from both the plant here and the Putnam ash landfill I couldn't find where any ticket was made for it. I thought maybe the UO who was in charge of filling the trailer had used a different trailer number, but all the other trailers that were sent to the ash landfill had matching tickets for both places.

Then I remembered that the plant operator on both shifts keep track of what trailers are filled. So I pulled the PO logs and low and behold the UO that was on shift on the 14th never scaled the trailer in or out. This UO is one who we've had on going issues with but for whatever reason my plant manager doesn't want to fire him. Needless to say, I was beyond aggravated.

QOTD: What's your favorite holiday dish and have you modified it after WLS? I don't really have a favorite dish as I honestly love all of them, but my husband loves squash pie and I make him one every Thanksgiving and Christmas. That is one thing that I have modified just a little. I use spices and a little honey instead of sugar that it calls for. He actually thinks it tastes better. Sometimes I even use fresh butternut squash instead of the canned squash.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: today is a soup day I think I have some broccoli cheddar in the fridge here at work

D: shepherds pie made with ground chicken and sweet potatoes

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Oh and CT had two small earthquakes yesterday 2.1. Didn't even feel them.

Good mornin y'all.

the only thing set in stone today is my physical therapy appointment. Other than that money is tight due to an unexpected bill that needed to be paid. Life is...well life. We may have to go to Walmart to pick up a prescription.

i may take the time to clean my disaster of a bedroom. All my chainmaille supplies are all over my room. I suck at organizing. I need to put up some of my vinyls for my cricut. Of which I also need to do a few transfers for my nieces on a few hoodies.my oldest niece is into fnaf(five nights at Freddy's). I don't get it but it's not for me to get. I have a packed week next week other than just thanksgiving. An appointment on Monday, two on Tuesday and one on Wednesday..

QOTD: I like a really good sweet potato pie but rarely fix it because my mom and me are the only ones who like it. Then there would be to much left over to eat. Savory wise I guess the fried okra which I now do in the air fryer.

b: eggs, cheese and coffee

l: unplanned

d: shrimp spring rolls

we got a new bed for the cats. Both the older ones won...sort of.

I love to organize and keep trying to justify buying a cricut to make fancy labels for organizing. I have used a label machine called the PTouch for probably 40 years and replaced it once or twice. They cost around $30-$50. I have lots of different colors of tapes for different projects.

A cricut is much more expensive but people make such beautiful artistic labels with them. I have a dream of running a home organizing business where I would go in and make people's closets, drawers, pantries, and refrigerators into attractivly organized and labeled masterlpieces.

Labels are the secret of organizing and keeping it organized. Without labels it is too easy to put things in the wrong place and then not be able to find them when they are needed. Everytime I go to put a cricut in my Amazon or craft store shopping cart, I talk myself out of it when I see the total with the machine and the supplies.

My favorite is cherry pie. I used to bake a lot of pies for Thanksgiving and some were cherry. After surgery I also would bake one cherry pie that was sugar-free. Giant Eagle here sells a cherry pie that I have to admit is just as good as mine. It is $20 a pie and seems like a lot but I will buy one for Thanksgiving.

Five nights at Freddy's is a very creepy horror movie. Have you seen it?

Good morning, everyone!

We got a bit of snow yesterday. Not even enough to cover the grass, but a measurable amount is on the ground, so it's our first snow of the year. For some reason we have been more likely to have a White Thanksgiving than a White Christmas.

I much prefer traveling at the end of the week so that I come home to a weekend to rest. I requested the Wed. -Fri. Meeting session, but I got placed in the early one. So I'm on the train this morning, heading into the city.

Back to CrossFit tonight, I tried to go on Sunday, but my app didn't seem to work.

QOTD: I will dump on too much sugar, so I try to keep the dessert portions small, as far as the main course, I'm pretty much unchanged except for quantity.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: chicken parm

Dinner: short ribs

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning Jen and Meneurs,

I never heard of squash pie it sounds interesting. We have a younger generation taking charge at our company as well and yes, I see some entitlement. I only got somewhere between 5-7 years that will not go fast enough. The gym owner texted me this morning and I am going to buy my own cycle shoes. I think it will motivate me to go to more Bike and Burn classes. I am not one to waste money so if I have invested, I should be more motivated.

QOTD: My dad used to make a dressing that had ground meat raisins bread and the giblets from the turkey. It was the best dressing in the universe. He never taught me the recipe. My brother and I have both tried to replicate it and never came close. It is still burned in my brain but probably can never have it again.

Accountability: Just some more Kettle corn.

It's pretty much like a pumpkin pie but made with butternut squash instead of pumpkin. For some reason Irvin much prefers that over pumpkin. I think his mom made that because she was from West Virginia and back in the day did things different than in New England.
