my doctor does say I'm a success story. I'm the only one he's met that has kept the weight off this long and in good health.
just sucks how much work I've done to have this kind of issues now.

Yes I've seen my family doctor a emergency doctor and had tests done everything showed up good in blood work exrays showed bad blockage they both gave me stuff my doctor gave me restorlax been on for 10 days nothing.. hospital gave me a fast relief pills and some drink said I should go that day it's now been 3 days.. I see specialist on Thursday. Fingers crossed he figures it out.. this is causing me to miss work. The only thing that changed in my diet was when I eat because I switch from days to night in December

I was just at the hospital a few days ago they gave me a drink and pills to take to flush me out.. said it will happen right away but nope 3 days now and still only a little bit came out.. they did a exray thst day too to make sure I didnt have a leak clear of that but they said I was badly bound up and gave me that stuff. I go see a specialist on Thursday so with any luck they will figure out the problem.. just hard being back on liquid diet waiting for what seems will never come out.. feeling tired bloated and all around just crappy.

It's been a while since I've been here. I'm now almost 7 years out from my RYN surgery.. everything went great I lost over 100 pounds I work out at the gym 2-4 days a week I've never felt better. I even just got married last year.

For some reason these past few months I cant seem to eat properly.. I feel sick and full all the time. I only have a bowl movement every few days up to a week.. it seems to be getting worse. I'm feeling drained cold and tired all the time. Any one else have these issues so far our. I go see a specialist next month but I'm afraid of what he will say..

I totally understand what you are going through. I have a mom just like yours. When I first started looking into WLS years ago I asked her what she thought about it thinking she would be understanding since she is over weight and has a lot of health problems. She asked me if i was crazy and said I just have to exercise and eat better. She was not on board and I too turned away from it. It has been 7 years and my weight went up and down. I finally decided it was time and was not going to tell her in fact I did not tell he for almost a year while i have been going through all my hoops before surgery. I am only a few days away from my surgery now and I told her a week ago. I wish I never did cause she is so not supportive. But I really could use her right now on my side. You need to do what you think is best for you. If I were to do it over again I would have hubby call as they are wheeling you down. That way you know she knows and there is nothing she can to to change your mind now.

Mix with SF syrups and flavored extracts. If you put vanilla extract in the vanilla optifast it will taste so much better. Then add some banana or orange extract, It will make it taste like creamsical, Yummy. You can also add decaf coffee to get your morning coffee fix in. I have been on optifast for 6 days out of 14 and at first it was so nasty and I thought OMG how can I do this. But it will get better. I have lost a pound a day since I started. Good luck

Anyone know how you make an Avitar of your self before and what you could look like after WLS? I have seen some on some profiles but dont know how to do it

Well I don't know what I am going to do now my family Doctor just got discharged for drug use. I just got a call saying I need to go through this hole thing to get a new Doctor. This could take up to a month or more before they find me one. My surgery is in a month and now I am lost on what to do after my surgery. If I don't have a family Doctor could my surgery be held back? God I hope not this has been going on for a year as it is now. I'm so close

I wish I was that lucky I am in canada we have a good year or more of run around before we even get the ok and then the surgion can turn around and say no. I know  of alot of people that waited 2 years. thankfully mine has been only a year. It sucks waiting but well worth it in the end
