I am scheduled for revision surgery next week and met with my surgeon. He started mentioning how he might have to revise to sleeve instead depending on scar tissue, how much omentum was there and if the mesentery part of my small intestine was thick and non pliable. He was the one who suggested I revise to bypass and I'm now getting the feeling that he wants to do the sleeve because it's easier. Has anyone been scheduled for a band to bypass revision and come out of surgery with a band to sleeve instead? I'm eager to hear your experience.
