Topic: RE: Chocolate protein that mixes with coffee
I am looking for a tasty chocolate protein that can be added to my morning coffee without clumping. Any recommendations?
Topic: RE: 5 yrs post rny..what amount of protein?
Can someone remind me how many grams of protein we should be consuming? I am having brittle hair and breakage. Also, I remember back then, someone had a spreadsheet as to what the recommended blood levels be for vitamins and nutrients...anyone happen to have that available?
Topic: RE: My equilibrium is off?
I started about 4 days ago with "balance" problems. First doc suspected I needed to stop blood pressure medicine. I did that 3 days ago. Still experiencing problems. Blood pressure is normal levels What else could be causing this? I take my vitalady multi, D3 and B complex as well as calcium.

Topic: RE: UNBELIEVABLE sale on now at Christopher and Banks!
I recieved an email this morning that they are reducing their clearance clothes by 40%. OK, now since I am a smaller size I needed medium size tops - I bought (50) (embarrased) tops and paid a whole $245.00! (including shipping). Actually shipping was free! With the 40% reduction on the already clearance price it made each top about $4.18! Rush over there now!

Topic: RE: Please stall end...AGAIN
I found that by limiting my carbs to under 40 per day keeps me losing and not stalling. I was eating too much fruit.

VioletKid you are too funny! Its just the difference between weighing without clothes and shoes on.
Topic: RE: Onederland - by the skin of my teeth
Congratulations! Be Proud! I know how happy you must feel, as I am at 201 today on my scale at home (doc's scale weighs 4 pounds more). Can't wait until I hit under 200!
Topic: RE: OT: No one knows! So now what?
I too felt the same way you did and did not tell anyone but my husband and daughter (and believe it or not my husband blabbed to his mother!-Argggg). You have a RIGHT to not tell anyone about your surgery. I would just go out to the restaurant with your sister and order soup - if she wonders why you are eating soup, you can always tell her your stomach is on the "queasy side". I am still glad that I have not told anyone (possibly in the future I might feel different). I definately understand what your feeling.
Topic: RE: Update: flu? Cold? Or something else?
So sorry you are feeling so bad! I had a virus about 2 weeks ago. I also had muscle aches and fever and couldn't get off the couch for 3 days. I did not get dehydrated though. Hopefully you only have the 3 day virus too!
Topic: RE: How/When do you take vitamins for best absorption?
I'm a little confused on this. I take my vitamins 5 times per day. Should I be taking them with some water right before I eat? or do I take them with sip of water after I eat? What is your take on this?
Topic: RE: Goal Accomplished
MOLLY - My surgery was 7/12/10 and I have lost 31 pounds - we are running about the same!
Topic: RE: VitaLady Vita-Min - just (1) OK? What Else?
Do you mean I need to take MORE of the vitamin D3 that I am already taking? What amount do you suggest?
I am separating the iron.
I am separating the iron.
Topic: RE: VitaLady Vita-Min - just (1) OK? What Else?
I am 5 weeks out from RNY. I have purchased these vitamins (you can find ingredients listing below). Should I just take (1) tablet per day? I am also taking:
(6) Bariatric Advantage calcium chews (250 mg ea) per day
(2) D3 (dry) capsules-4000 IU
(1) Vitalady Tender Iron-60 mg
Is there anything else that I should be taking? Looking for advice from the experts.
