Yes they have diet sprite. I was a sonic diet coke addict til surgery. It's still carbonation. I love the ice so now I get a medium tea and it's wonderful. I sweeten it with agave.

Like most soft drinks, they are very high in sugars. No, they would not normally be allowed. If they are carbonated, then that would be another strike against them.
