Following  is part of an email I just got concerning Zone Perfect Nutrition Bars.....

Dear Zone Perfect VIP,

As a Zone Perfect VIP we value our relationship with you, and your health and safety always take first priority.

Which is why - as a precautionary measure - we are voluntarily recalling our Zone Perfect® Chocolate Caramel Cluster bars in connection with the widening recall of peanut ingredients manufactured by Peanut Corporation of America (PAC). We are taking this action because peanut granules in these bars were sourced from the PAC plant in Plainview, Texas. We previously announced a recall of two of our other bars-Zone Perfect® Chocolate Peanut Butter and Zone Perfect® Peanut Toffee-because they contained peanut butter supplied by the PAC plant in Georgia.

No other Zone Perfect bar flavors are affected by the recall and we no longer use PAC as a supplier.

We conduct extensive quality testing prior to distribution and we have no reason to believe there is a health or safety issue with the impacted bars.

If you have the recalled product, please immediately set it aside and contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-986-8884 between 8:MA - 5:00pm ET , Monday - Friday.

We thank you for being patient while we work with our new suppliers to make Zone Perfect Chocolate Peanut Butter and Zone Perfect Chocolate Caramel Cluster bars

Thank you for posting this.  Zone Perfect has some of my favorite protein bars and I had no idea that they were included in this darned peanut recall mess.  Apparently the bars we had were safe-- we already ate them (and yes we had the chocolate peanut butter ones).
