Did anyone have to take injections to avoid blodclots post op

Again thanks for the replies. The shots dont hurt at all, it's just seems excessive since I'm already pretty mobile and  my BMI was only 40-- meh, I'll go the distance to be sure but I was just curious if anyone else had to do this.

Laurie tell me more about day 11-- day 6 and I am TERRIBLE at getting in fluids and protein, I'm surprised nobody at Obesity Help has kicked me off the  board!!!!

Like lori I was given the heperan shots every 8 hrs, and boy did they sting..
