SONIC SLUSHY FOR WLS FOLKS!!!!

So.....heres what I did! I LOVE those lemon berry slushies @ Sonic......BUT......I cannot handle all that sugar now..... So....I have been living vicariously thru friends, but that wasnt good enough, dammit! So, I went to Sonic, & I said, HI Kristal....I have a strange request,...Can you give me a lemon berry slushy without the lemon berry?..................There was silence. I cleared my throat....She says, you dont want the flavoring? I said, no,just the slushy part....She say, so,just the berries? I said, No.................No berrie, no flavoring..... (I swear,it sounded like we were in a play,& had practiced this) so, then, my horns came out, & I said...You know Kristal....lets go wild & crazy & make it a CHERRY slushy!!! She says, so you want a cherry slushy? I said, yes, but without the flavoring.....Silence....(I got the feeling she wasnt a big talker) so, she say, are you sure? I actually say- well....let me think about it.....just to see what she would say. Silence. I thought there was a camera on me!!! Like candid camera. She probly felt the same!!! So. me & Kristal finally get it together, & she gives me a route 44 slushy,with no flavoring. I take a packet of walmart brand crystal lite early orange sunrise, & stire very very well....IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!U should try it!!!!! I drank the WHOLE THING.

That is too freakin' funny! ...and we have a Sonic about 2 miles away so I may just try it and mess with their heads!

OMG, i love sonic slushy.  But i always thought the icy part had the sugar in it.  Did you taste it before putting in you crystal lite? 
what a neat way to get in the fluids if it is sugar free!

Yes, I am SORRY, I really should have clarified (we had a 5 min conversation via the drive thru) ask for the ice/water mix....let them know you want only the ice & water.

Our 7-11's and Mac stores here in Canada offer Slushies with Crystal Light flavorings!

I'VE ACTUALLY THOUGHT OF BUYING A SHAKE/SLUSHY MACHINE, LIKE THE ONE THEY MAKE SOFTSERVE WITH, & SLUSH ALL MY PROTEIN SHAKES & MY KELLOGS PROTEIN WATER.

Our 7-11 has Crystal Light flavors here in MI, too.  Today I had an Apple Mango flavored one and it was delish!

same thing happens to me when i order out now. i tell them to leave the bread off no mayo,& they look at me like, "what's wrong with this guy, he looks like he can eat 3 sandwiches easily. We sleevers are like a new breed.
