I was wondering how many grams of fiber are you getting in a day? My nutritionist never mention how much fiber is good for the body for it to stay regular. Thanks in advance!

From the web:

There is no RDA for fiber, but the American Dietic Association recommends 20-35 grams from a variety of fiber-rich foods per day. Most people in the US average only 5-10 grams per day; too much fiber (50+ grams per day) may be unhealthy.
I don't get nearly enough!  Maybe 15-20 on a good day.  I take benefiber 2x a day.  Sometimes I'll have an Atkins Fiber bar.

I don't know about your program but Kaiser recommends 11gr Fiber post op daily. I cut out the little recommendations and added them to The Daily Plate in LIVESTRONG, so when I was documenting my foods, I could see if I met my goals.
Good Luck,

My nutritionist never mentioned fiber either.  I know about the 20 to 25 gram rule, and I wasn't getting close to that on my post-op diet.  I found a gummy fiber supplement that I've added to my routine, and it seems to have helped regulate things.
