anyone developing problems 3 years post-op?

Recently I've found, more and more frequently that I cannot eat the size meals I could a few weeks ago or a few months ago.  Either during the meal or up to an hour later I develop stomach pain and massive quantities of bile.  This would occur a few months post op when I tried to eat too much, but I didn't expect this to occur 3 years later.

Possibly developing scar tissue on the stomach which is causing restrictions?  There are no common denominators as to types of food, times of day, emotional state, etc.

The good life is not about what we get out of it, it's about what we put into it!

Are you taking any meds for stomach acid ? and what does the doc say about it? I'm only a few weeks out so I don't have any insight for yu but I hope you go to the doctor.

What did you do to clean out your gall bladder?  Just curious.  Sounds like a worthwhile endeavor!

I agree with the other responders that you should contact your doctor to see what's up.  I'm sure we would all be interested in the outcome because we'll all be 1,2,3 years out sooner or later.  Thanks for sharing the situation, and best wishes for resolution!  Viv

Better to be safe than sorry.  Follow up with your physician and have some tests run.  You don't want to end up in the emergency room.
