Cereal????

I was wondering if any one does cereal for breakfast? If so which one. I just need some variety for breakfast other than protein shakes? Any suggestions?

I didn't eat cereal for almost 20 months post-op. I just started having cereal here and there in the last couple of months. I can eat about 8-10 of the little frosted mini wheats, I've eaten 1/2 cup of cap n crunch, but I'm still sensitive to milk so I don't eat much.

I just didn't have room for the carbs. What about eggs, breakfast wraps minus the tortilla (or a whole wheat tortilla), low carb, high protein oatmeal, poached eggs with cheese. Those are my staples for breakfast.

I have  Kashi Go Lean - Honey Almond Flax Cereal about twice a week. It's not bad.  Half a cup is 5 protein, 100 cal and 18 carbs.  I needed something crunchy once in a while!!

If I do cereal (rarely) I do steel cut oatmeal w/ flax oil and a small handful of slivered almonds and 1T chia seeds.  VERY filling -- takes me a long time to eat it.

I have occasionally had Kashi GoLean Crunch Honey Almond Flax.

My usual go to breakfast is scrambled eggs w/ sauteed onions in grape seed oil or a protein shake.

What about oatmeal? Do anyone do oatmeal for breakfast? I'm not an egg person at all. Never have been! Thanks for the responses!

Hey pretty lady-
I only do oatmeal every morning, I put cinnamon and a little almond milk and some splenda and about a tablespoon of unflavored protein. hummmmm  lol. I do the orginal oatmeal that you cook on the stove..
