Well, the chart nurse from my PCPs office called just to give me the results. She asked if I had been supplementing it (I have not been great about even taking my flintstones complete) and she said if I was taking anything to stop right away.

It is not the same as iron.... It is more like my iron storage. I have so much iron it is getting stored in my organs and isnt just floating around in my blood.

I am guessing fatty liver disease ... Let's hope it starts going down I guess!

If your ferritin is high and your iron is low......that is a concern.
Do you know if your iron levels are low?

Ive just finished five rounds of IV iron infusions and researched like crazy....though Im no expert.
