I want the newbies to heed this from my experience. Dehydration is the cause of everything - apparently. Low potassium, froathing (foamies), low energy, low BP, constipation and other things I'm sure. DRINK YOUR FLUIDS! I'm a slow learner.
i'm a lil over 6 mths out & still can only drink about 30 oz a day. i guess that's why my potassium is low. thx. need to try a lil harder in the drinking. but i can only get in so much b4 i get full.

How have you gotten by so long on only 30 oz a day? Your surgery was in October of last year? Are you having any side effects? I swear, I've been getting 35 ozs and am suffering all the things I named above.
i'm never really thirsty. i just sip sip sip. maybe that'll change sooner or later. on a good day, i'll get more in. i really try to get in more but then i be to full to eat then i forget to eat.

Dehydration SUCKS. It can also be quite dangerous. Getting in fluids isn't always easy, especially early out. Most of us struggled with it at one time or another.
Day four and five were hard for me. I felt good enough to do things, but then did them, and felt lousy again and frustrated. I wasn't getting in enough fluid, knew it, and was a bit scared, and freaked out. Just take it easy, sip as much as you can, and take a good couple naps during the day !!!

I was just telling my kids I need a good movie to watch so I can chill this afternoon. I was hoping the Unjury chicken broth would perk me up, but that < 130* F isn't working for me. I want hot soup! Lol. I see a SF popsicle in my future....does that count toward liquids?
