Need to get rid of clothes...anyone use ebay/craigslist?
I use Craigslist all the time. You just have to be careful, meet in a public place and try to take someone with you when you meet. I have even gone so far as to have them send me a face shot of themselves so I can leave it with my husband. If the person who shows up isn't the one in the picture, take off.
When you list your stuff, be specific in the title. You get more 'hits' that way. If you have a lot of items, you can do them in lots (several items together). but, your best sale tactic is to let them go individually and then have several people meet you at the same time. You can even do a 'tailgate' sale where you list your items, show a few shots of them and then say you will be at the 'XXXX parking lot' at such and such time for anyone who wants to look through them. Rememeber... take someone with you!
