2 years and four months more or less...
Congrats! Great to read about "vets" who have made healthy living a life-style post-op. Esp. great to hear from a Free-Stater who's in the same practice (I'm w/ Dr. Singh). My weight loss journey has been rapid, amazing, and a lot of hard work - at just about 7 mos. post-op, I'm down 147 lbs. as of today - walked 18 holes on a blistering hot golf course this a.m. - loved it every sweaty step of the way - and won a few $$. 28 lbs. to my goal weight - then on to maintenance for the rest of my longer, healthier, happier life. I'm one happy 65-year-old (no more diabetes, high BP, sleep apnea or Rx meds.) Ain't life grand?

"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The irony is the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson
