Isopure Question

So I bought my first bottle yesterday (holy crap 2.99 a bottle) anyhoo I got the Blue kind and decided that I would drink half for dinner along with my food and then the rest for lunch today. well after drinking it last night I had terrible dry mouth for a good hour.
Figureing it was somthing else I didnt relate it to the isopure but at lunch today all I had was the isopure and my mouth is dryer than hell at this point.

SO anyhoo my question is: Is it just me or is this a common experience for everyone? Cause its really irritation before surgery and I can not imagine not being able to gulp down water after sugery to get rid of the cotton mouth :x

I recently bought a six pack of isopure and now I can't even stand the smell of it.  I hated it.  It gave me dry mouth too.  I actually did better with muscle milk, even though I don't drink milky products.  Also, Sunkist has a protein drink as well that tastes pretty good, but it's milky too.

It did the same to me but I just increased my water intake. Now I drink them when I can't get enough protein in or if I didn't have time to eat my protien with my busy schedule.

Yes, they make my mouth dry. I'm allergic to soy, the egg proteins make me feel ill and I'm slightly lactose/milk intolerate, so the whey is starting to bug me, but I'm hanging in there.

They are SO FREAKING SWEET too. Just keep reminding yourself that it's only temporary!

I bought my first Isopure drinks today.  I needed something that was thinner than a regular protein shake.  I'm; drinking the orange right now.  It's not half bad but the dry mouth is happening for me too.

Right after my surgery, 3/1/11, I started drinking isopure. At first I did not care for it, but then I started drinking it at the gym. My wife likes the chocolate musle milk light.

try diluting it down.   I think isopure pre made drinks taste better when they are really cold and 2/3 ispoure & 1/3 water.

I just ordered a case of the lemon tea isopure - $42 for 12 bottles!  I really like iced tea and was hoping I would enjoy them and I really do.

I worry that post op they will be far to sweet - but I figure just keep diluting it with water and ice and I can make it through :)   Good luck finding protein that works for you!
