Any Feburary Sleevers out there? I had my surger Feb. 22nd and down 69 lbs total to me that doesn't seem like alot and I and over the last couple of months I've been at 280's. Doesn't ever seem like I will meet my goal of 180 I'm losing sooo slow. How is everyone else doing though?

70lbs in 5 months seems great to me. I have not had surgery yet, and won't until early next year. If I tried to lose that kind of weight without surgery, it would take me at least a year. I have never been able to lose more than 5lbs a month. You are doing great, keep it up!

I had the sleeve May 27th and I"m down 52 pounds - I'm a very slow loser (found that out when I had the two weeks to lose 10 pounds at my surgeons office) - but I think it's great that we've lost what we've lost.
We have to hang in there!

I am Feb 1st Sleever

My highest weight was 250 and my curent weight is 167.6

We all lose  weight different.  easy does it...  if you notice peoples monthly
weightloss every months verys from 6 to 12 lbs a month.

your doing well.  stay with your  plan. Be true to yourself and the sleeve will work!
This is not a fast process. This is actually a consistent slow process and a life
style change.

I think you are doing great. I had my surgery on Feb 15 and  I've only lost 51 pds since surgery and more like 70 since pre-op but I find slow and steady works great for me especially since no one knows I had VSG but immediate family so instead of looking like I had WLS I now look like I'm working out to get it off. We have 1 whole year to be in losing stage and I've read where others have lost further out than that. I think we will be fine. I was hoping to be under 200 pds by now but hey I just have to wait and patient!

Feb 7th for me... I was 250 surgery date and I am now 188. so 62 pounds for me. It is slowing down also for me .. last mo I lost 8 and the other months I lost 12 pounds or better. It will begin to slow down more and more. I started walking 2 miles a night for 3-4 nights a week and I notice the scale to move.  However, since 3 weeks after surgery I cant stomach protein shakes anymore so I know that isnt great. I drink alot of tea and that surpresses my appetite so that I dont snack since I have a new found love of Animal crackers lol. 6 mo ago I couldnt dream I would eat animal crackers and now I crave them like Im pregnant with my son all over again lol. Anyway stay positive girl, you are doing great and it is to be expected that the weight comes off slowly after a while but stay focused and excersize as best you see fit and it will work out for you. Congrats on your success !

I was sleeved February 21 and I'm down 60lbs and 64 total since the pre-op diet. I am actually at goal but that's because I had a low bmi to begin with. I think your doing great and they say loosing weight slowly is better for your skin. As long as you keep up the good work you will continue loosing. I'm still loosing despite me eating more frequent meals and drinking juice because I don't want to loose much more because I don't want to be a stick figure. Lol.

Feb 7th for me and 90 pounds....but 69 pounds is awesome!  I work a lot of hours on my feet (waitressing) so i think your doing great..I was 355 the day of surgery and I now weigh 265.  The best thing about this process is that is a slow process, it gives our bodies time to adjust and its not a quick fix...Keep up the awesome job!

Best of Luck, Charmaine
