Surgery at 8:45 am
Sent up prayers for you.. I myself was nervous before my surgery.. I was all gung ho right up until they came in with the Lovenox shot and gave that to me in my belly.. then I knew I was being wheeled off into surgery.. My dr had told me when they give you that shot.. you are going to surgery right after.. thats when I really felt nervous.. but they had given me some loopy meds in my iv to help me feel relaxed so I just chatted with they guy wheelin me in.. got in there and on the table and a little shot and poof I was out and waking up in recovery..
You will do fine.. God will have his hand on you and carry you through.. send us an update as soon as you feel up to it!

Nadia, no reason to feel sad. The past is the past and there's nothing that can be done to change it. You have made a very wise decision to give yourself the best possible opportunity for a longer, fuller, healthier life. That is the decision you need to embrace
Best of luck as you continue on this journey!

I was scared even with prayer, and that is ok too! It is a major decision and turning point in your life, there are many things you are leaving behind, but so much more that you have to look forward to! Breathe deeply and know you are in good hands, and remember why you made this choice. It is worth it!!
