Are your vitamin regimes as intense like DS and RNYers?

Obviously folks vary based on individual needs and surgeon's requirements but I believe most/many take----

Daily multi vitamin
B12 (sub lingual for me)
Vitamin D
Calcium (although I stopped the calcium due to non VSG related reasons).

Easy in my case.

Ummm...my list is probably a bit more ridiculous than most.
2 multis
1 b complex
1 biotin
1 chromium
1 L-glutamine
Calcium Citrate (~2000mg/day)
Iron when I remember (bad!)...but I'm switching to proferrin soon so I won't have these issues.
1 B12, every other day
1 Vit D, twice a week
Calcium Citrate
Flax Oil
Coromega
Magnesium Oxide (so I poop)
Probiotic

I think that's it...but really it's not bad. With the exception of the calcium, everything else is either taken in a big handful in the AM or PM. and I'd much rather take a handful of vites than a million Rxs for chronic illness.

This is a great question..thanks for your list of vites..may I ask why you take the iron? Did your doctor say to?
I just found out that I"m iron deficient and was wondering if that was comon in vsg'ers...
Thanks very much!!

Daily regimen

Multi-Vitamin with Iron (100% daily recommended value) Malabsorptive procedures require way more than 100% of the DV

Calcium Citrate 1000-1500mg per day based on age, need, and personal medical history

Sublingual B12- we can NOT absorb B12 properly due to the intrisic factor of the stomach being removed.

I take 2 multis (trader joe's brand) and one B complex sublingual. I'm going to add in calcium and probably iron (I was borderline anemic pre-surgery) but am trying to "wean" myself onto vitamins.
