Well I was suppose to get DS surgery but they were not able to do it once inside so I ended up with the sleeve.

What vitamin protocol is everyone following with the sleeve since we don't have the malabsorption issues?

The usuals until your first set of labs dictate otherwise are:

1-2 good complete multis a day- like centrum
1200mg cal citrate
B12 - I use 2000mcg sublingual methyl form, not cyano
Iron

I am low on D (as are many folks) so I also take 7000iu D3 a day plus potassium, and magnesium (Mg is in my cal citrate).. plus various oils- Omega3, and EFAs.. Just because it isn't malabsorptive, since the quantities are so limited, it may as well be nutrition wise..

Early on, 2 chewable multivitamins/day, calcium citrate (important for me because I don't drink milk). Now I take 1 multivitamin/day. Easy as can be!

I take a chewable multivitamin, B 12 sublingual and, because I rarely eat bread or grains,  B complex to keep me from being b1 deficient.

i was taking a vitamin D supplement and B12..   but when i last had my labs done, they told me to back off on those because my levels were too high....

i just had my labs drawn last week and have my check up on 10/21....  we'll see how well i do..
