Dr. Baker in Grand Rapids, MI
Morning everyone,
I have gotten the weight loss surgery from GHP and I had Dr. Foote, my Uncle is looking into surgery and leaning towards Dr. Baker. I thought that he had at least four fatalities but I have not been able to find any good sources on this. Does anyone know where I could look for this information? Or does anyone know from experience? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I had Dr. Baker for a surgeon and was extremely pleased with him. My friend who was a cardiac risk had an RNY that he did. When she had it done it was a gamble if she didn't have it done she would die and if she had it done she may die on the operating table. She made it through the surgery and did fine. Through the grapevine I heard Dr Baker takes the more complicated cases and this may be why he had the fatalities. Dr. Foote would have been my second choice because I have heard all good things about him also. Checking the surgeon is a good thing too to put your mind at ease.
