Susan how long ago did you get yours done? I am on day 5 and still in pain cant stand the drains and sick of laying around in bed. But so happy I did get my tuck.
My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Wow, very brave of you to post this, thanks!  How far out were you from your surgery before you had this done?

I am 15 months my surgeon wanted me to wait till I was 18 months out. But my insurance is changing to a different one so he said he would do my tummy tuck now. I am happy at my weight any ways and did not want to loose any more.

Valerie I am 2 1/2 weeks out.

I hated the drain! It came out at 1 1/2 weeks but realistically I should've had it in longer, as I've got some major swelling on the mons.  Dr. says fluids settle at the lowest point, and they have! I fibbed a little about the drain being under 30 ml.  Shouldn't have done that! DON'T!

Also, wear the binder whenever you are up doing something.  Even at 2 1/2 weeks I need it so I'm not sore and even more swollen at day's end.

Scab around my belly button has started to come off.  Dr. had me start using Mederma to help with the scar. It's expensive though. I went to their website and got a $2 off coupon.

Do your before pics look as bad as mine did?! I had all my fat in the front. Hopefully I can afford breast reduction later on, because now I look a little top heavy ;(

my drains most of the time are under 30 most of the time they are 25 to 28. He did not explain why I had to keep track of the drains. after 12 hours of not emptying them today one was 53 and the other was only 20 I have no idea if that is good or not?,
