This week was thanksgiving I want to know how everyone did  because I care I will start:
I gained 4 F..king Lbs I'm hopeing this was only water weight because I was eatting alot of ham and was drinking diet pop. every time I eat ham I have water retention real bad . I didn't workout I didn't even do my after dinner walk .I was a lazy ass pig the last four days its a  new week time to hit it hard. Everyone tell Vinny Mac If you did good are did you fall off the wagon.

If I'm going to be honest - it's been really hard to stay on program since Thanksgiving. I have gained 1 pound since Thursday. Not too bad, but not the way I'm wanting it to go prior to my surgery. Tomorrow is get back on track day, for sure!

Well, from the Monday before Thanksgiving to now, I lost 2.2 lbs.  Probably the first thanksgiving week ever that I lost weight.  I know I had higher carbs than normal on turkey day (didn't try to count them), and skipped a couple of workouts (unrelated to the holiday) but other than that, my week was pretty good.

I bet your weight is water weight - you'd have to eat a whole bunch of extra calories to gain four "real" lbs in one week!

Well, I'm not even sure where my home scale is right now (we're in the midst of a bathroom remodel), so I haven't weighed myself. I'm also nearly 23 weeks pregnant, so there's that, too.

That said, I didn't restrict myself from having anything I wanted. I'm sure my weight is up a bit, but it'll come back off as soon as I get back into my normal routine. I hosted dinner, so there were LOTS of awesome veggie side dishes to choose from. The only crappy (carby) options even on the table were some stuffing and some sourdough rolls. Other than that, it was turkey, homemade cranberry sauce, mashed cauliflower, broccoli cheese casserole, spinach casserole, butternut squash and spinach with dried cranberries and red onion...we'll be having lots of veggie leftovers all this coming week!

Eating off plan as I was with out of town friends but I kept up with my exercise so I did not gain, just stayed the same.

Didn't gain. I made some sf pecan pie and a sf pumpkin pie. I ate one slice of each over the whole 4 days, but didn't eat the crust. I ate turkey first on T-day and then a bite of potatoes and a couple bites of stuffing with gravy and I was DONE. Totally stuffed!

All I can say is that sweet potato pie is evil and I had a lot more carbs than usual (mac n cheese) and I gained 2lbs but I got on the scale this morning and was down again so maybe it was water weight. I didn't count any calories or exercise so today I'm officially back on.

well my thanksgiving was a month ago... n no I didnt stray from anything...kept within my cal goals and kept my exercise and steps in check. It's a hard go at times with battling the old behaviours, I have worked hard to change them... n i can honestly say with confidence now that I will never go back to what I was...and it feels good knowing that.
It will be a week tomorrow I will finally have my VSG and i am thrilled... life is fantastic and am looking forward to the new year when i will have my hernia repair and plastics.

For those who have may have indulged during thanksgiving... keep working on your behavioural plans... it will help immensely in the long end... nothing feels as good as knowing your lifestyle has changed and you have the conifidence knowing you are committed to sticking to it ;).
