How long before decaf coffee?

How long did you wait after surgery before drinking decaf coffee? I'd really like some Christmas coffee (sf of course!)

Hi there! I was cleared right away to drink decaf! As soon as I was on full liquids :)

I never was deprived of DECAF, enjoying me some brew right now! I use artficial sweetner in it and little fatfree milk.

I was also givein Decaf in Hospital PO. it was so good Decaf coffee and Ice chips nothing better after WLS.

I was told to wait 2 weeks But after seeing all of your post I thinkI may have a cup today I am one week out. maybe i can make it half strength.

Don't hate me, but I was drinking regular pretty quickly... I know I shouldn't....
