My daughter has chosen Plication. Could use some feedback on this.

I let her read all the replys and the links today.

Oh good. I was trying to not say anything. I worry about plication. It's so new and I've read entirely too many horror stories.

Having said that, we all have our own journey, right? There's a lady in my support group that had plication. She complains she's losing slowly, but she's a lightweight to start so I think it's expected.

She spent the night at my house last night.
She just initated a break up with her live-in boyfriend and moved into an apartment with some other friends so she is really down.
So I go to work in the morning and purposely leave my computer open and set on the OH page...LOL

She read everything! Including the links to the research.
Shhhhhhh....don't tell her it was a set up.

I think she is now ready to make the commitment. I know she can do it. The sleeve will make it easier for her.

Just finished reading the entire thread and am so glad your daughter decided to chose the VSG! I had spoken to my surgeon about it just in general - I already knew I was getting the sleeve. He absolutely dismissed it citing many of the reasons given in the above posts. So glad your plan worked!
