FRUSTRATION
Is this normal. I had VSG October 18, 2011. I use to weigh 230 pounds On Monday I was 188 pounds. Now I went Tuesday to 193 and today 191. I keep a religious diary. I use the MyFitPal and log in everything I eat. I exercise two times a week. How can I go from 188 on Monday to 191 on Wednesday. I eat below 800 calories a day and I watch the carbs and the fat. Is this normal. I have my appointment in April with my Surgeon and I don't want to be stuck at 191. When I saw him law I was at 193.
It happens frequently to WLS people and normal people too - body can and does fluctuate within a pretty wide range -
If you know you didnt eat enough to gain weight (aka fat), then don't worry about it. It takes an excess 3500 cal to put on ONE lb of fat - it's unlikely that you ate 17,500 calories so it's not worth stressing about right now. Yes, it sucks, it screws with your mind, but just remind yourself that you only have one option right now and that is to keep doing what youve been doing.

I weigh every day, and give too much power to the scale sometimes. I had to laugh when I say you were worried about being stuck at 191 in April. That's a long way away, kiddo! Yes, we all fluctuate. This is the plot of my weight since right before surgery. Definitely up and down, but overall down.
You'll do great!
