first, I saw my mom for the first time since before preo-op diet (she has no idea about my WLS!) and she didn't notice a loss but she did say, "you look so pretty today!" I think it shows that I've lost but with only 20 lbs gone she isn't putting her finger on WHY I look better. ha ha I was a little bummed at first that she didn't notice but it's not going to get me down.
as for the non scale victory....I haven't lost even ONE POUND this week..NOTHING. I was really bummed that eating 3/4 cup a food in an entire day, exercising, and getting protein in with the scale still not budging.....
BUT I've got back to the gym this week, and started increasing intensity. And today..... I fit in my old size 14 jeans!!!!!! Zipped these puppies up and I can breathe and the legs even look a smidge loose! I couldn't believe it! I've tried for three stinking years to get back into these and two weeks after the VSG I'm in them. It's insane! In a good way!
If you are thinking of having the sleeve done...JUST DO IT.
