I have noticed that for some reason I can only drink Gatorade I have tried water and lemon and Crystal light,Almond Milk is ok but lately it seems the only way I can get my Liquids in.I spoke to my Nut on Tuesday and she says at this point they want me to make sure I am getting it all in and if Gatorade works then go with it just try a low sugar option which I have not been able to find....Anyone know where I can find low sugar Gatorade?

Have you tried powerade zero?  I know they have a gatorade low calorie, i think it's G2, but it still has calories and carbs.  The Powerade Zero doesn't.  Good luck!

I think their lower sugar option is called G2.  You might try iced tea...I love Peach Passion.  SF popsicles also count toward your liquids.

G2 20floz, per bottle has 45 calories and 12g sugar/carbs. So far I've had the Grape and Orange - both very good!

I am a Powerade Zero junkie! It's got zero calories and sugar, and it tastes great. I used to drink G2, but one bottle has two servings of all that sugar and calories.  Powerade Zero is a better choice.  I wouldn't be able to get in all my fluids if I didn't have Powerade Zero in my life!

I'm the same way....gatorade goes down the best....I like to take the regular gatorade and water it down, about 1/2 and 1/2, it's perfect that way for me....but I also drink it full force sometimes, since I could use the carbs and sugar due to my exercise.

I don't like the taste of the G2, but they are usually found everywhere the regular is sold.

Another way I get my fluids, hot green tea....love it....and SF tropical popsicles....

Water is still not the best for me post op....and it used to be the only thing I drank pre-op....I was a huge water drinker previously...but it somehow still doesn't sit as well as flavored drinks now....it is getting easier with time, and I can drink bigger gulps now, thankfully.

Oh yeah, forgot to add....if you like almond milk...you could also try adding a bit of SF chocolate syrup and drink chocolate milk.

I drank chocolate milk almost daily to help my fluids, but it was regular cow's milk and syrup....

I had the same problem, My hubby does not understand why I drink so much G2, but I have tried the poweraid zero and I can't stand the taste same with the crystal lite. I have mixed MIO with water and I have been able to get atleast 8 oz that way, but I have to drink more G2 than anything, and then I find that I can only tolorate certain flavors of the G2. You can find G2 at most grocery stores, walmart, and target. Hope this helps.
