What 8 months and a VSG will do to you..

Whoa!  Those are some great pictures. Nice job.  Keep it up. Slowing down is normal, but you can continue to lose for a year.

Thank you everyone - For those of you who have yet to have surgery, follow your doctors plan as closely as you can and you will be set for success. Use as many resources as you can get your hands on, for me it was my doctors, their nutritionists (who are offered to patients free for the rest of your life after you have surgery), my personal trainer, my psychologist, my family and friends and the OH community. A combination of resources and support systems will keep you motivated and on track.

You look wonderful and are quite an inspiration.  I also had surgery by Dr. Schmidt 3 months ago today.  I am down 51 lbs.  I feel great and am looking to lose alot more.  How heavy were you at the beginning that you were able to lose so much weight in 6 months.  I am in a stall right now, but hope that it picks up soon.  Thanks for the inspiration.  JRThinner
