1 month post op w/ pics!

I had my one month post op appointment yesterday.  Everything went great.  I'm cleared to start eating real food!   I tried some grilled chicken, but I hurt for an hour afterwards.  Think I'm going to stick to soft foods for another week or so.
By the Dr.s scale I was down 19 pounds from my pre-op appointment.    On my home scales I weighed 223 the day of surgery.   Today I weighed 205.   I can't wait to be back in the 100's!   My lowest weight with my band was 192.   I'll be there again soon!

Looking good! I'm with you on taking it slow adding back real food. I had to go back to softs for a while. I just couldn't handle it yet. That method worked for me. Now I can eat pretty much anything that's on plan without issue.

My mind is ready for solid food, but my tummy isn't!   I don't want to have pain when I eat.  I had enough of that with the band!
I'm glad to here that you don't have issues now!

Congrats! Doesn't it feel great to be losing?

It does feel great to be losing again!   When my band went crazy I gained around 30 pounds.  It's much more fun to see the number on the scale going down lol!

Thank you!  I couldn't really tell that much difference until I compared the pics.  I guess 19 pounds can make a difference!    35 more pounds and I'll be at my goal!!!!!!!
