Having surgery on May 1st

I am having surgery May 1st! I have never had a surgery before so I am a little nervous but keeping my head up knowing God is on my side :) I have a question for those of you who have had the vertical sleeve done. I am a photographer and have been asked to do a wedding shoot on May 19th, this will take quite a bit of walking, but not much of anything else. Would doing this be taking too much of a risk for healthy healing two and a half weeks post op ?? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

How heavy is your equipment? I wouldn't be worried about the walking so much at that point as avoiding lifting... I know photographers have equipment they use to alter lighting and stuff that can be kind of cumbersome.

If you have an assistant with you that can help with that type of thing, you would probably be just fine.

I will have an assistant with me and I also do not have any equiptment needed other than my camera which is not heavy :) Thank you for your advice I was just worrying about telling the client I could do it if it would jepordize me recovering :) Thanks again so much!
