My lab results!
VSG on 02/04/12 with
4 months post op lab results:
Vitamin B12: 1505 pg/mL when normal is 243-894
He says it won't hurt for it to be higher than normal so that is of no consequence but I'll just reduce my B12 to every other day instead of every day.
HDL cholesterol 45 mg/dL , he said it should be above 45 so I'm just borderline. I will increase fish oil and exercise to get that up in a better spot but he's not worried about it right now and he said there isn't much else I can do.
Vitamin D came back within normal range but on the low end so every other day I will double up on my vitamin D3 supplements just to keep that at a nice spot.
Everything else was BEAUTIFUL!
I'm SO HAPPY about this! I was really concerned because so many ppl on here take in over 80 grams of protein a day and I'm lucky to make my usual 56-60 grams per day but my protein levels are great so I can just be happy for what I can take in right now and quit stressing! :)
I'm especially excited because my glucose level pre-op was borderline diabetic (he said I was prediabetic) and now I'm in the normal range, well under the high end of normal! Also, my liver enzymes showed that I had liver inflammation (fatty liver) pre-op but my numbers are on the very low side now, totally healthy and no inflammation! Take that liver! All better! :)
Again, BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE FOR MYSELF!
