On my plan, baby food was mushies, not liquids. Ask your doc.

My surgeon considered full liquids as something you can fit through a straw.

Full fluid is generally smooth and will fit through a straw. Could you mix it with broth to fit those guidelines? What about putting some real, homemade soup into the blender and adding enough broth that it's that consistency?

Knowing myself that's what I'll be doing. I find sweet drinks get old fast, so I'll be looking at well thinned and blended chicken or lentil soups. Mmmmm...soup.

My doc let me have "cream of soups" at full liquid... just drain the pieces of chicken, mushrooms, etc out. It's about the closest thing to a meal I have eaten thus far.

With my surgeon that would be a pureed food and that is not to be started until week 4. Liquids is not something that is a food. Maybe try like V8 fusion drink-diet. You have to set your mind to what needs to be done and be strong enough to follow it.
