Anyone with Aetna had a band to sleeve revision approved through them?

I have not...but wanted to wish you luck!  My company switched insurance coverage when they were bought out and I have Aetna now.  I know every Aetna policy is different and the one we have is probably the worst.  Maybe I was just spoiled with my prior insurance, but I'm not looking forward to my copay for VSG.  My biggest success has been calling Aetna and talking to them about specifics.  If you get the right person on the other end of the line, they can be very helpful...but there's always the few who will do the bare minimum for you.

Just came across your post and am wondering if you had any success getting a LB to Sleeve revision approved through Aetna?
If so, did they consider it a new surgery requiring you to meet all the guidelines again?
