Any Sleeve surgery regrets??

I go int today for blood work and VS surgery on Monday.

Anyone that has had sleeve surgery have any regrets???

I go under the knife Monday.

Any advice???

I just had mine done last Monday and I can already say NO REGRETS!!!!!!! I've lost 10 pounds already.

There were a couple of days after the surgery when I was feeling sorry for myself and had regrets. Now that the pain is over and I'm gaining some energy back, I'm over that.

I will say that the sooner you can wean yourself off the painkillers, the better. They make you feel lousy and down. My mood only improved after that.

So, for one week, things might suck, but Week Two is WONDERFUL!!!!!!

I had the pre-op jitters too. I used that energy to clean the house up. You'll appreciate that when you can't do anything for a week.

I'm on Monday too......I know how you are feeling.....We can do it! Try to push the fear and "what if's" aside. This is the best thing we can do for ourselves. (((hugs))))

My only regret is allowing myself to get to a place where I needed to do this. I don't necessarily love my sleeve but I have an infinite amount of gratitude for the new life I've discovered because of it.

Dont stress yourself out by over thinking. You've made your decision so be at peace :) I'm a total wimp and the surgery isn't all that bad. Just enjoy the next couple days!
