5 days out and I have HEAD HUNGER?!
No one said this would be easy but shoot. I thought for sure I would have a little ways to go before I would have to struggle with that. Fortunately, I am powered up and I won't give in! (not like I could even if I wanted too;)!) As far as the pain goes, I feel so good I'm going back to work Monday! The first day post op my pain was not managed at all and I really questioned what I got myself into...and then I got on the scale. I have lost 18 pounds since I started my liquid diet one week preop. Let's just hope it keeps falling off!
Also, I found a protein powder I love and it's called AMP. Anyone try it?
Lastly, but certainly not least, I wanted to thank everyone on here for their support. You guys have been awesome and feel like family!

way to go you!!! I'm 3 days post op and am still pretty sore. I'm having a hard time in getting my pouch to hold more than 5 sips and 3 tiny bites of jello. I know I'm still healing and am not expecting an overnight change. However, I will say that since surgery on Tuesday, I have lost 4 lbs.
Just like everyone else said, be safe on Monday and don't overdo it. I haven't heard of AMP, what flavor is your favorite? I am a HUGE fan of Unjury Chocolate Splendor. Definitely looking forward to being able to mix some fruits into my shakes and get creative!
