stalled weight loss by day 12???
I don't get it. It was rather fun watching the scale change almost daily since starting my pre-op diet. BUT, for 4 days in a row now, my weight hasn't changed. I haven't taken my measurements as that is Wednesday's task. (I know that doesn't have any logic, lol).
My protein has been 60-80gms daily, calories less than 600, liquids > 64 oz daily. I have walked 1.5 miles daily for the last 3 days. I'm mystified.
Any ideas?

It'll move again. Mine started at 10 days, been sitting at 245 for 4 days now but I knew it would happen at some point, thought it would be a little later, but better to get it out of the way. I know it will move again and I've become much more physically active in the past couple of days so the body is probably just adjusting and I'll see a drop soon. Don't sweat it, it seams to happen to everyone.

I totally stalled at that stage too...it just totally amazed me that we can eat so little and sit at the same weight for up to 2 weeks...then it starts to drop again...just keep going...you are doing great and it will all come togather for you soon.....Good luck
I just got weighed yesterday and the same thing stalled at 285 from 308 on day 13. I thought it was because I had some tomato soup. LOL So I guess this stall is normal. The important thing is to look long term. I don’t weigh daily. In fact there is no scale in my home. I just plan on sticking to the plan, eating right, and when cleared exercise. I have a bad hip so walking/running is not an option. But I can’t wait to swim and lift weights. So stalls or not, we’re all going to shrink if we follow the plan. So kill your scale and stick to the plan. You'll have less stress.
I went from 248 to 235 in 21 days and then stalled for about 6 days. It was frustrating but I've started losing again so I'm feeling better. I was questioning myself also. It must just be something that happens. It makes sense really. Your body thinks it's being starved so it's going to hold on to everything for as long as it can. Glad to know I'm not the only one though...
Good luck!

My first stall was around that time and lasted 20 days. That was 130 pounds ago. It will move. Promise.

Thank you thank you thank you, I needed to hear that you stalled for 20 days because I am on about day 17 of a stall the same 1lb up and down. I was beginning to wonder I knew about the stall at about 3 weeks after surgery mine came early but everyone seems to break them within a few days or the most I have seen is two weeks here, so like I said your 20 days makes me be able to breath a sigh of relief.
Have a great day everyone!!!

I still lose in a very stair step pattern. Just hang in there. It will be okay. Yours cound be longer. I think the longest I remember was just over a month for someone here. It sucks, but hang in there!
