get to start "soft" foods today.. down 45 pounds total (pre-surgery and post-op) I am still tired alot of the time though.  I have upped my protein and am walking much faster now.  Not sure if I am getting enough water total, I really need to keep better track .. just checking in with an update

I hit 4 weeks tomorrow, and I completely understand what you are saying. My water intake is low and I really need to start tracking it better. I figured I would give myself the first month to get into the grove of sip sip sip walk walk walk then work on adding the whole tracking protein and carbs and water. I find this task daunting but know its in my best interest to track everything. I was lucky I was able to move on to soft foods at two weeks. I have lost 43 total pre op and post op.

Congratulations!  I'm 4 weeks post op today too!!  I'm down 33 from my highest...20 since the day of surgery!  I seem to be doing well with protein, but like you I'm struggling to get the water in...and to track it exactly!
