OK so I didn't know that my sex drive and natural lubrication would be affected this much. At first everything was super awesome in the bedroom now it feels like my lovetank is completely empty. I spoke to the Dr's nurse and she assured me this is normal and everything will adjust with time. Don't get me wrong, being 80lbs down and being able to give away clothes that are too big instead of being too small is FABULOUS! Shopping in my closet is GREAT! As far as my sex drive...excuse me but...THIS IS SOME BULL****!!! O well, I guess me and the Honey will have to try new things in the sac! ;)

I've actually had the same problem since surgery. ZERO sex drive (coming from some who had an extremely high sex drive before surgery). Between that and bleeding issues, I talked to my gyno and she actually put me on hormone replacement therapy. Supposed to start it tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes.

I go to the Dr on the 27th im definitely bringing this to his attention.

From my understanding, excess fat leads to exess estrogen. That excess estrogen will eventually convert into androgens and cause women to have too much testosterone. The reason you were likely hornier when you were bigger is because your testosterone was higher than it usually is in women who are ht/wt proportionate. Now that the excess fat is leaving, the extra testosterone is also leaving.

This also probably why I've seen lots of morbidly obese women with excess facial and body hair.

Makes sense. Never thought being "in mood"  or not being in the mood would affect me so much. No regrets on my weight loss and surgery but there has to be a way to get my MOJO back;)
