I had to get a pre-employment phisical yesterday. The nurse took my blood pressure with a regular size cuff, not the XL cuff. This was very exciting for me!

That is a great NSV! Pre-op, I was always given the bigger cuff too, I hated that!!!
Gotta luv it, thanks for sharing!

And I bet your BP was better too. I can't imagine what it will feel like to have "normal" as my normal. Congratulations.

I definitely know the feeling. Before my surgery they needed a thigh cuff to use on my arm in order to take my blood pressure and the the first time they could used the regular cuff on my arm it felt great!! I believe it was my 3rd appnt with my primary after my surgery that I was able to move to the regular cuff. At that time I was seeing my primary monthly to adjust my blood pressure meds to accommodate my weight loss. Right now I'm on quartely visits and I'm on the lowest dose BP meds (even after losing 87lbs) but hope to get off of it completely on my next visit in Nov.

That is a great NSV!! Congrats!!
