How long do you think I will have to wait
There really is not standard answer for you question. You can do it as soon as you feel up to doing it and that can vary significantly from person to person. Just to give you an idea, I was able to go to a state fair on the second day after surgery and walked three miles on the third day. It would probably have taken me at least two weeks before I would have wanted to dance.

I am one week out and I am alright. I have a hard time standing or walking for too long, because it causes a pull and ache around my incisions, but other than that, I feel 100%. Dancing might be a week or two away, but I cannot wait to dance again! (Its been YEARS for me)
Finally!! A question I can answer with AUTHORITY. haha
I am a dedicated line dancer and do it at least 3X a week.
Of course, needless to say, you will have to see how you feel. I had a fairly easy go of the whole process and I probably waited about 3 weeks or so. And then when I started back, I just went easy and didn't do the turns right away, etc. My group does some serious line dancing and we are always learning all the new stuff.
My only real holdout was just how tender my belly was. But now a little over 2 months later, I am back to it and dancing with great zeal!! LOL
Have fun ... but just be careful.
