Flavored water question
VSG on 09/04/12
Happy Sunday, everybody!
So I am trying to get my water intake up by muddling fruit and adding water and Ice over it.
I just don't know how to know how many extra calories end up in my water. I don't eat the fruit, just drink the water, but you definitely get some of the fruit juice in the water, I'm just confused how to record this! Thanks for any help!

You could muddle the fruit out of the water one time and see how much juice it produces. If it's say 1 cup of juice that is usually about 70-80 calories. Figure out how many 8 oz glass of water you're getting from the pitcher of water and divide the calories by that number for each glass. (for example, 5 glasses of water would have 14-16 calories from the fruit juice per glass).

Hi.
I use the crystal light packets. I find myself only adding1/3 of packet. Just enough to change the taste of the water.
