VSG on 09/26/12

Found out I have shingles on my ear! Anyone gets this after surgery? Surgery was sept 26th! Ugh just when I was starting to get back to normal!

I've had shingles twice, but not associated with surgery. Horrible! I hope your meds kick in and you get over it quickly.

I get them fairly regularly on my back. Mine is caused by stress or lack of sleep, neither of which I am sure affected you, LOL. As soon as you feel the pain, take a pill if it happens again, it will make a huge difference.

I had them once above my ear, right where my glasses sit and it was hell. Mine was from stress and immune system being low at the time. Some of the worst pain I had ever experienced.

My mom has them right now. Ouch! Feel better soon! Makes me wonder if I should get the vaccination? Your system is probably run down and not fighting it off like usual. Keep up your water and vitamins. Hopefully that helps!
