And so it begins...
I have always been a preparer...planning, contingency planning, etc. I've purchased LOTS of things to help me along with this sleeve (new scale, food scale, Ninja, drink shakers, pill sorter for my vit's (and the actual vitamins, too), torani in a variety of flavors, some SF pudding, enough protein drink samples to feed a small African nation...
I've taken advantage of the "wellness" counselor at my surgeon's office, have been working out with the exercise guy, too...I have my favorite NUT phone saved in my phone...
Have had some rough patches during the road to approval (diagnosed with ulcae and hypothyroidism), and then my pre-surgery EKG came out bad...spent the last 2 days living in the cardiologists office, only today to be told everything is JUST FINE and I've really clear for surgery...I have 2 three hour nutrition classes--one with surgeon's NUT and one with hospital's NUT, and my last pre-op visit with surgeon.
I think I checked ALL the boxes. ALL of them.
So tomorrow, on THANKSGIVING, I will start my pre-surgical diet. All liquid...5 protein drinks (Optifast--WOW @ carbs) and 1 soup per day...
Don't stop in your purpose only because it's Thanksgiving, follow your goals to loose weight and prepare your self in the best way you can do for your gastric sleeve remember that we have a long life to enjoy after the surgery and now is only the beginning for the good things on the way
