This is a marathon, not a sprint.
I'm the hare type of person. I like to do things fast and get the rewards right away. This VSG thing takes the tortoise type of people, someone who can go the long haul and persevere. I'm working on being a tortoise. I'm trying to remember that if I just do the same thing, follow my food plan, every day, that over time I WILL reach my goal. For someone that wants instant results, this can be very difficult.
I'm a slow loser, whether it's my body's fault or mine. I have to accept that this is going to take me some time. I will not drop 100 lbs in 3 months, that is not my path. I am grateful for the small victories and the motivation that my support network gives me.

I guess its because I have been heavy for so long, now that I have finally made a decision to change, I am like READY SET GO!
I am seeing that there is nothing wrong with slow weight loss...it might even be healthier as the weight will probably stay off longer once you reach goal.
What an exciting journey! Can't weight to join you on the losers bench!
