The 25 Days of NSVs
After losing a total of 75.6 pounds, I have reached so many happy, little goals. I wanted to share them with my new friends here. Thank you so much for your advice, encouragement and friendship since I joined the group.
1. I can finally fit into my college jeans I’ve been carrying around with me since 1997…SOOOO happy about this!!
2. Took a belly dancing class this morning (something on my “bucket list”!!)
3. My mom did not recognize me from the back the other day
4. Two (or three) sizes smaller in pants
5. At least three sizes smaller in shirts
6. More room between my belly and the steering wheel
7. Not as much struggle getting into a booth at a restaurant
8. Can comfortably fit in the bathtub (with room to move)
9. My feet are smaller
10. I’m able to spend more time at the gym (treadmill or elliptical AND the weight room)
11. I don’t have to take as many anxiety pills
12. I can pass the football with my nephew
13. I can play Wii sports for about 30 minutes as a workout and feel good about it
14. My pajama pants are HUGE on me (but I won’t give them up!!)
15. The other day I could not finish ONE perogie (where at one time I could eat an entire box)
16. I’m not craving sweets
17. I don’t need the couch cushion to prop me up in bed to sleep anymore
18. The cat is falling off me when he tries to cuddle (my gush is getting smaller)
19. My butt hurts if there’s not enough padding in chairs (since my own “padding” is getting smaller)
20. Smaller underwear
21. Smaller bra (this one isn’t such a “victory” for me)
22. I now walk 2 - 3 times a day (10 – 13 minutes per walk)
23. I can now wrap my towel around me and it fits all the way around
24. I took a tiny bite of the forbidden, but greatly lusted after, BBQ chicken pizza…instead of continuing to eat it, I told my husband to take it away from me…I had control!!
25. I brought McDonalds home for my hubby this afternoon and the smell made me sick
