My mid-life crisis. I am now small enough (and fit enough) to ride, and I have fulfilled a life-long dream of owning my very own horse. I'm taking some time off of work at least through the holidays so he and I will get to spend a lot of time together. I can't even describe how amazing this is.

Soooo very envious. Congratulations! I am hoping to take a week long riding vacation in the Canadian Rockies next year since I can't quite manage a horse in suburban DC. Enjoy your bonding time!
