Have a cold!!! Surgery is next Tuesday!

Anyone have a suggestion on how to know this thing out.  I really don't want my surgery postponed.  I don't have a fever, but I'm a little congested.  I'm thinking 4 days from now, I should be okay.  But I want to make sure.  

I had the same thing four days before surgery 10/23. I rested ,drank a lot of water and took many vitamin c. I was fine the day of surgery but I recommend calling your surgeon.

I was told as long as no fever I would be fine for surgery.   I took a ton of vitamin C and zinc prior to surgery and that helped.

Use a saline nasal spray to help with drainage and getting rid of the cold faster. It's not a drug, so it won't interfere with pre-op instructions.

I talked to the nurse today. She said as long as I don't have a fever or chest congestion (which I don't), I'll be fine on Tuesday.  So, I think it'll be okay.
