So happy

My mom has been overweight ever since I can remember and today we were talking, she had mentioned considering VSG after I had mine but then nothing more, and I asked her where she stood and she told me her and her Dr (same as mine) will begin the process once Doc gets back from maternity leave late Jan or Feb.  She's seen me lose 70 lbs so far and how much more energy I have to play with my 2 year old and how much healthier and happier I am and I really hope she goes down this path because I want her to be there a long time for her grandson.

That would be awesome if she decides to get sleeved.  Keep us posted!!!

My mom too is considering VSG for the same reasons as yours. I'll keep both our moms in my prayers. I completely agree with u that this would be so good for her. She has also been overweight since I was born (I'm 47) and I would love to see her have a great chance of beating this for good!
